! New Course: Adhesive Bonding Operator (ABO)
For the professional execution of bonding operations, it is essential that bonding operators are familiar with and understand the specifics of adhesive bonding technology. These competencies can be acquired through a combination of theoretical instruction and practical training.
Training Objective
Participants will acquire the skills necessary to independently and efficiently perform practical bonding tasks in accordance with work instructions.
Target Group
The training is intended for personnel involved in bonding or bonding‑related activities in manufacturing, including manual, machine‑assisted, and automated applications.

Course Content
- Introduction to adhesive bonding and fundamentals of bonding processes
- Bonding forces in adhesive joints
- Occupational health and safety and waste handling in bonding processes
- Types of adhesives and their classification, curing methods and conditions, areas of application
- Surface treatment and pre‑treatment options for bonded substrates
- Aging of adhesive joints and methods for their testing
- Bonding workstations and conditions for correct application
- Practical training
